To Flu Shot Or Not To Flu Shot

Well it’s coming to that time of year again isn’t it?

Flu season is around the corner.

What are you doing to strengthen your immunity naturally?

Just last week reports leaked out of children contracting Swine Flu after petting baby pigs at the fair.  Some say this is a scare tactic to move us towards vaccination.

Recent research has demonstrated that people who received the seasonal flu vaccine had two times the risk of getting the H1N1 “swine flu” compared to those who didn’t.  Also, a link has been found between flu vaccinations and an increased risk of serious bouts of pandemic illness.

Unvaccinated children naturally build up more antibodies against a wider variety of flu virus strains than children vaccinated with weakened antibodies in flu vaccines.

Vaccines are never 100% protective.  Have you or someone you know ever become ill after being vaccinated?

Your immune system is strengthened by contracting and recovering from disease.  Symptoms such as runny nose, cough, mucous production and fever are signs that your immune system is working for you to move you back to health and wellness.  Treating symptoms does not support immunity and the healing process.

It would be wise to support recovery and/or lessen the severity and recovery time by boosting your immune system naturally.

- Regular adjustments increase  immunity by over 80%

- Oregano and Echinacea help: we carry both in their most active forms

- Probiotics (good bacteria) found in our Flora Syntrophy and Ultra Flora Plus, and in some organic yogurts are extremely helpful

- Homeopathic preparations such as Flu Millieu, Virutox, and our lymphatic drainers are very effective for the upcoming season.

Don’t forget to eat right, drink pure water and exercise regularly as well!

See you for your next immune boosting adjustment!  And while you are visiting us, ask me what remedies would be best for you and your family to help keep you healthy this season!
