Macronutrients Vs Micronutrients

Critics claim that vitamin supplements are a waste of money.  You can get all you need from your diet they say.  They say that all the “processed foods you buy are nutrient fortified!”

They don’t mention that the so called vitamin additives are usually synthetic, not to mention all the other toxins in what I call empty calories in processed, sugar laden, and wheat based junk food.

Did you know that 75% of Canadians fail to get the recommended daily amount of vegetables (or fruits)? While it is imperative that your diet consists mostly of these wholesome live foods, they too can be devoid of micro nutrients that are vitamins, minerals and enzymes.   Cooking vegetables especially in high heat and/or microwaving fresh live foods kill the live enzymes and robs them of life giving micronutrients.  Picking these foods unripe and trucking them to market, sitting on the shelf, and then in your fridge leaves them micronutrient poor as well.  Be sure to buy locally grown (markets etc.) to get fresh micronutrient rich fruits and vegetables.

Sooo…our bodies are a living organism, made of living cells that require living foods to be properly nourished and function well.

They do contain quality macronutrients, such as pure proteins, (amino acids), complex carbohydrates and fiber.

Putting cooked foods into your body can cause it to break down.  They are contaminated, very toxic.

Cooked food is widely accepted as normal nourishment.  The living cells of our bodies do not get nourishment from dead, artificial, processed ingredients found in cooked foods.  A typical meal of cooked meat, cooked potatoes, cooked vegetables, a piece of cooked bread, followed by a cooked sugar dessert filled with artificial additives that does little to nothing to nourish your living cells.  All you get is a full stomach, and some gas and bloating from all this dead food.

In our young you see colic, rashes, colds, earaches, swollen glands, etc.  With a little age, we see tooth decay, crooked teeth, pimples, etc.  Then as adults, we get arthritis, heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, and cancer, all as a result of improper diet and lifestyle!
